Fancy trying something new? Pucket is a frantic game of dexterity for players young and old!
Players race each other to clear the pucks from their side of the board by catapulting them through a small hole leading to the other side (the “gate”). Any pucks that arrive on your side must be sent back before you win. If you have a competitive streak, you’ll love it!
The fantastically made wooden game Pucket, is fun for old and young. Bring it out after parties or on lazy Sunday afternoons.
The traditional way of playing Pucket involves a race between two players to fling the wooden pucks from one side, through the small hole in the partition, and into your opponents court. The first person to fling their pucks into the other side wins – bearing in mind that any your opposition fling into yours have to be flung back! There are alternative ways to play Pucket. You can take it from a game of fast paced, manic enjoyment to a slow, measured and calculated game of skill. Instead of flinging the pucks as quickly as possible you would have a penalty shootout, so take it in turns to fire the pucks through the hole. Don’t just follow the rules though, have fun by coming up with your own ways of competing!
We have to say that it is pretty tricky to get any work done in the office
Pucket games are hand-crafted in India from rosewood and come complete with a cotton bag for the pucks and pegs, to adjust tension on the elastic…
Will you take your time, slow it down and make sure each shot counts? Or are you an all guns blazing, speed-is-the-key player?
“Expect much raucousness and fierce competition.” The Daily Telegraph
“It’s wooden, noisy, and you get to ping things. Brilliant!” – Time Out London
“A firm favourite of ours, Pucket is a must for every home. We can say first-hand that it provides endless fun for anyone.” Regal & Barnes
